• The wait is nearly over for UP Board students. UPMSP conducted the Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations from February 18 to March 12, 2026, in two shifts across more than 8,000 centres in the state. A total of 52,30,184 students registered this year, including 27,50,843 for Class 10 and 24,79,341 for Class 12.
• Based on past trends, the board is likely to announce both results between April 20 and April 25, 2026. The exact date and time will be confirmed by UPMSP on its official website.

UPMSP has not announced the final date yet, but evaluation started on March 18 and is now complete. Looking at previous years:

Passing Criteria for UP Board 2026

To pass, a student must secure a minimum of 33% marks in each subject as well as in aggregate. Students who fail in one or two subjects will be eligible for compartment exams, while those failing in more subjects will have to repeat the year

Practical marks are added separately for Class 12 science and vocational subjects.
